Simu Liu is finally opening up about his dating life, although not with his words.

The Shang Chi actor had been rumored to be dating actress Jade Bender since late June 2022. And now, the two have seemingly confirmed their romance.

Are Simu Liu and Jade Bender Dating?

In short, yes, they appear to be dating. Liu and Bender walked the red carpet event together at the 2022 ESPY Awards on July 20, 2022. The couple even posed alongside one another for the cameras.

As for their looks, Liu wore all-black for the occasion — he wore a black suit with a black unbuttoned shirt underneath and mirror-polished shoes to top off the look. Bender graced the red carpet in a sparkling, off-shoulder dress with a slightly sheer quality to it.

They were all smiling on the carpet, leaning on each other as they posed for the media present.

Liu and Bender set off dating rumors in late June 2022 after being pictured leaving a West Hollywood restaurant together. They got into the same car and drove off.

After this, he even brought her with him to Jimmy Kimmel Live! just a week later.

Theirs isn't a case of two just getting to know each other, though. After their after-dinner pictures, people unearthed the actor's past and speculated they might have known each other since at least 2019.

In 2019, the pair posed together for the cameras at the Unforgettable Gala in Beverly Hills, California.

With this appearance, the Shang Chi actor finally puts to bed the speculations about whether Bender was his girlfriend. Notorious for keeping his dating life very low-key, Liu also potentially hints at being more open with his relationships.

And not only does he confirm his relationship, but he also confirms he is not gay, as was speculated in the past.

Simu Liu and Chrishell Stause’s Dating Rumors

In early 2022, there were rumors about Liu being in a possible relationship with Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause.

Their dating speculations began after his appearance on one of Selling Sunset's season four episodes, in which she helped him find a home in Los Angeles.

After rumors spread like wildfire to the point where Andy Cohen inquired her about it, Stause set the record straight about their relationship during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in February 2022.

"I get this question a lot. I have to say, Simu is just a friend of mine," Stause told Cohen. She had not even been in a "friends with benefits" kind of relationship with him.

Before Stause, Liu was linked with Kim's Convenience co-star Tina Jung. However, the two never addressed those rumors.
