Kaitlan Collins' Bio

Collins was born on April 7, 1992, in the State of Alabama. She pursued her education at Prattville High School.

The Alabama native went to the University of Alabama and graduated in Journalism and Political Science in 2014.

Joined CNN at 25

Collins started her career as a freelance writer and blogger. Later, she joined The Daily Caller and covered the 2016 presidential campaign. Her coverage impressed many. So much so, she got promoted as the White House correspondent for the Tucker Carlson-owned site in 2017.

However, she didn't continue for long on the site. She got a new job at CNN as a White House reporter in June 2017.

Since joining the network at the age of 25, Collins broke several stories in her coverage of the Trump White House. She also traveled with Trump in Asia to report stories as a chief White House correspondent.

She was included in Mediaite's 50 Most Influential People in News Media in 2018, 2019, and even 2020.

Net Worth and Salary

The Alabama native serves the CNN Network as the chief White House correspondent. According to Glassdoor, the salary for a CNN correspondent averages around $136,275.

As Collins is the head White House correspondent, she undoubtedly receives compensations, base salary, and bonuses. But, her net worth is still under review.

However, it is guesstimated all over the internet that her net worth is upwards of $1 million.

Relationship Status, Married Will Douglas?

Collins was in a relationship with Will Douglas, a pharmacist and the founder of Crimson Care Pharmacy Group. They started dating circa 2015 and flaunted their relationship on their respective social media accounts.

In May 2016, the duo enjoyed a delightful vacation with their close friends, and in the next month, they attended a wedding ceremony.

Further, the pair toured the Nationals Park in Ballpark, Washington, D.C., in July 2016. They visited a wedding ceremony at Gin Creek Plantation in November 2016.

Interestingly, Collins also had a close relationship with her partner's family members — mostly his brother Tanner Pierce and mother Melinda Douglas. They went on trips and had lunches together.

However, their relationship ended around 2017. Though Collins didn't disclose the separation, she deleted all the pictures with her boyfriend from her Instagram.

Since then, she hasn't shed any light on her relationship status. Her Instagram and Twitter only give glimpses of her dedication to work.
