Is There A Wig on Barry Manilow? This page provides information about the singer’s cosmetic surgery as well as insights into his hair.

Born Barry Alan Pincus, Barry Manilow is an American singer-songwriter. His career spanned seven decades.

It seems that we made it—could it be magic? Among his top-charting hits are “I Write the Songs,” “Copacabana (At the Copa),” and “Can’t Smile Without You,” Mandy.

51 Adult Contemporary Top 40 hits—36 Top 20 singles, 28 Top 10 singles, and 13 Number 1 singles—have been written and published by him.

Manilow has released thirteen platinum albums and six multi-platinum records. In addition, the singer has been praised by other recording business veterans, such as Frank Sinatra, who was quoted in the 1970s as saying, “He’s next,” even if music critics didn’t really like the vocalist.

Is There A Wig on Barry Manilow?

Barry Manilow used to have a lot of different haircuts. As a result, a lot of people believe the artist wears a wig and has false hair. However, that is untrue.

The musician doesn’t use a wig; his hair is real. Having said that, it’s possible that he wore a wig on several occasions to protect his identity and divert attention from the general public.

One such occasion made headlines when Manilow was seen wearing a long blonde wig, a baseball cap, and dark glasses years ago, according to a Daily Mail article.

When his cosmetic surgery was complete, the musician did this to escape the throng of people at the clinic. His nose, which is his most famous and identifiable feature, was surprisingly neglected during his facelift.

Barry Manilow Cosmetic Surgery: Did the Singer Get Cosmetic Surgery?

Barry Manilow, a musician who is 57 years old, reportedly had a complete upper and lower facelift that included general facial skin tightening and the removal of drooping skin from the eyelids.

He also left the Beverly Hills clinic with what looked like a surgical bandage under his chin, indicating that he was obviously uncomfortable being identified.

A spectator who saw Barry enter a nearby hotel with an unidentified lady companion said that he appeared weird.

He wore sunglasses, a Super Bowl hat, and a long blonde hairpiece on top. It was indeed an amazing sight.

The singer broke it in an odd accident at his California home in June, and he has said that he plans to get cosmetic surgery done later on his famous nose.

Manilow stated that when he woke up in the middle of the night, he knocked himself unconscious by walking into a wall in the dark because he was bewildered. “I went left instead of right and hit the wall,” he said.

After four hours of sleep, he was told that cosmetic surgery was necessary to prevent irreversible facial deformity.

“It’s going to take big surgery, and I might need to have my nose corrected,” he said.

Barry Manilow’s Marital Status: Who Is the Singer Married To?

Barry started dating TV executive and prospective manager Garry Kief in 1978. The pair were married in 2014 when same-sex marriage became legal in California.

However, both their relationship and Barry’s sexual orientation were kept under wraps until the marriage was revealed to the public in 2015. He said that he didn’t want Kief’s identity to become known to the general public.

Barry revealed it to the world in April 2017 and told People that he had kept it a secret because he didn’t want to upset his mostly female fan base.

But the musician’s second partner was Garry. Barry initially married his high school sweetheart, Susan Deixler, in 1964.

Even though he thought his wife was “the perfect wife,” he left her after just a year of marriage in pursuit of a “wonderful musical adventure,” despite his subsequent claims to be in love. In 1966, Deixler filed for divorce.
