Kim’s Convenience actor Paul Sun-Hyung Lee has been wed to his wife Anna for about 20 years. Lee and Anna have spoken about their connection and shared the secret to their blissful union.

The actor and his wife spoke about how they met and fell in love in an interview with Streets of Toronto in 2017. Anna stated that they first connected through a common acquaintance or couple.

“Paul was out with a sourpuss of a friend in a tavern. I had a date with several college pals. Paul called our mutual friends to find out what they were doing that evening, she recalled.

]”In the meantime, I almost skipped going to the pub with them but went anyway… We exchanged phone numbers after meeting, laughing at each other, and the rest is history, as they say.

Hyung Lee and His Wife Hyung Lee’s wife Lee also talked about their first official date. According to Anna, their date took them all over Toronto. At the Hot Tomato, they had dinner, and at the Living Well, they drank drinks. After that, the two went to the martini and cigar bar Havana Blues.

Lee had brought the newest Tom Waits CD from a record store visit, according to her, who reported that there was a lot of strolling, chit-chatting, and laughter. As they grew closer, Anna said Lee introduced her to wide-screen movies, video games like Golden Eye, and sci-fi. I enjoyed playing video games and watching movies on my tiny TV in my Kensington Market basement apartment.

Marriage And Family

On December 31, 1999, only hours before the year 2000 dawned, Lee, wed his bride. The actor acknowledges that the proposal wasn’t as romantic as he had intended because Anna was “sick as a dog.” A year and a half after Lee proposed to Anna, the two were wed on August 25, 2001, in Toronto. They stayed in Orlando, Florida, for their honeymoon.

The couple has now given birth to two boys, Noah and Miles. When discussing his family with CBC, Lee claimed that his oldest kid Noah resembles him.

He remarked, “It’s amazing that my oldest Noah is into all things geeky, like Star Wars. He’s like a little version of myself, so I suppose that’s why we butt heads so frequently. Lee’s youngest child, Miles, was so “not [him]” since he was so strong and active. Additionally, he alluded to Miles’ nerdy pursuits, such as stop-motion animation and sketching.

Lee and Miles continue to have similar interests despite his perception that Miles is different from him. The actor from Kim’s Convenience recently shared pictures on Instagram of his youngest child and him having fun while looking through the Toys”R” Us Canada catalog.
