Dallas Raines may love all his children equally, but he seems to have a special bond with his daughter Georgia.

Raines, the American meteorologist, is as family-oriented as he is career-oriented.

The 68-year-old has three daughters, and even though he loves all his children equally as a parent, he seems to share a special bond with his kid Georgia Raines.

Dallas Raines's Daughter Stands up for Him

The bond is evident from Raines' social media posts with Georgia.

The beloved kid had also demonstrated a strong connection with her father when she sent an email to the author of an article posted on SFGATE titled 'All-time Ridiculous Weatherman Names' back in 2010.

According to a blog post by the same outlet, Raines was ranked at number 1 for having the most ridiculous name for a weatherman.

After thoroughly going through the article, Georgia wasted no time calling out the writer. She took her father's side, after which the author was forced to move Raines from first to fourth position.

She added that her grandparents were still proud of the name they had given their son Raines, who was honored by being named after a kind, gentle, and dearly-loved uncle.

The writer had also been arrogant about Raines' weather school education, and the daughter gave the writer a piece of her mind on that too.

Clearly, being a daddy's girl, Georgia will never allow anybody to mock her father.

The love between the father and daughter is also evident from their pictures, where they are seen hanging out together quite often.

They have posted pictures together at Biltmore Chateau and Magic Castle, among other places on social media.

Dallas Raines's Wife Was Sentenced To Prison

While Raines has never been in controversy for any of his own doings, he certainly has due to his wife.

His wife Danielle Raines reportedly tried to strangle their then-25-year-old daughter. The name of the kid was not revealed to the media.

The incident occurred in 2016 when Danielle was drunk on a significant amount of wine. For this, Danielle was sentenced to three years of probation and one year of drug rehabilitation.

Dallas Raines Has Won Multiple Awards for His Work

Raines is currently working as the chief meteorologist with KABC-TV in Los Angeles.

Before joining KABC-TV, Raines had also worked at CNN, where he ran the national weather coverage and was a weatherman in New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Louisiana before that.

Over the years, he has earned a lot of fame and is best known for his moves during the forecast, including the swirl, the first pump, the "Dallas dip," and the golf swing.

Apart from his exceptional reputation, Raines has been honored with several awards, including the 'Daily News People's Choice Award' and 'Associated Press Award' for Best Weather Segment.

Furthermore, he has received the 'Golden Mike Award' for Best Weathercast in Southern California as well as the 'Seal of Approval' for TV Broadcasting.
