The amazing football coach Anthony Weaver is backed by his wife Kristin Cardenas, who exhibits a love story that goes beyond the game and flourishes in every aspect of their journey.

From making his mark with the Baltimore Ravens to moving up the NFL coaching ladder to his current role as defensive coordinator for the Miami Dolphins, Weaver’s strategic acumen has been evident throughout his career. American football player and coach Anthony Weaver was born and raised in Saratoga Springs, New York.

After being selected in the second round by the Baltimore Ravens in 2002, Weaver played four seasons and contributed to postseason football. After that, he played for the Houston Texans for three successful seasons. Weaver started his coaching career in 2010 at the University of Florida and progressed through the NFL coaching ranks with the Buffalo Bills and the New York Jets.

His ability as a strategist was evident when he was appointed defensive coordinator by the Houston Texans in 2020. Weaver’s reputation also grew, leading to interviews for the position of head coach in 2024 with the Washington Commanders and the Atlanta Falcons. He took on a new task as the defensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins on February 3, 2024, not too long after.

Kristin Cardenas, Anthony Weaver’s wife: Their marriage and children

Anthony Weaver and his wife Kristin Cardenas have a wonderful relationship that transcends sports. In the calm of the ocean, the couple got married at the Bocean Hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. As life partners, Anthony and Kristin have filled their house with laughter and love.

Their love story also features the joys of motherhood, as they are the happy parents of Justus Weaver and Anthony Jr. But in a time when social media rules the roost, one couple has adopted a more subdued strategy, remaining conspicuously silent online. In particular, Kristin would rather be in the background than lead a busy life with her family.

But whether they’re celebrating victories on the field or creating priceless moments at home, Anthony and Kristin represent the perfect team: companions in life, love, and the quest for happiness.

Journey with the Miami Dolphins

In 2024, Anthony Weaver becomes the Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator, instilling fresh vigor in the unit’s defense. Weaver emphasizes the necessity for flexibility in a sport where adaptation is crucial, acknowledging that the NFL is a dynamic environment full of unexpected turns.

Weaver spent little time in South Florida, but what he saw about Miami’s 2023 defensive effort was distinct: players at every defensive position put in a concentrated and passionate effort. Along with Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel, they believe that developing players is essential to building a successful and competitive team.

After spending seven years as an NFL player, Weaver hopes to develop a closer relationship with his athletes by helping them overcome obstacles and realize their full potential. Given how brief NFL careers are, Weaver approaches his position as a defensive coordinator with a deep sense of responsibility.

As he begins his second term, he views 2024 as an opportunity to build on the Dolphins’ consecutive postseason appearances and help the team continue to succeed. Weaver sees joining a team with a proven track record as an enticing chance to make every play count and pursue greatness in the thrilling Miami Dolphins football universe.
